To remove a toolbar from the main SOAPware window, Click (to uncheck) the checkbox of the toolbar to remove. Notice that un-checking the box does not delete the toolbar. Doing so merely hides the toolbar, and makes it unavailable for use.
Creating a New Toolbar
Creating a new toolbar involves the creation of a new toolbar, and then the adding of commands to the toolbar.
The creation of toolbars occurs in the Toolbars tab.
.
Click the New button. This will display the New Toolbar dialog.

Type a Toolbar name. Click the Location down-arrow menu, and Click a menu item for the location. The locations menu items are Docked Top, Docked Bottom, Docked Left, Docked Right, and Floating. In this example, the toolbar has been named New Sample Toolbar and the location selected is Docked Bottom.
Once a name and location are present, Click Ok to add the new toolbar to the Toolbars list. Clicking the New Sample Toolbar's checkbox in the Toolbar list places an empty toolbar in the main SOAPware window docked at the bottom.
To add commands to this toolbar, Click the Commands tab. Click the Category list item from which you would like to select commands. The commands available within that category will then be displayed in the Commands list.

To add a command to the new toolbar, Drag and drop commands one at a time directly onto the new, empty toolbar docked at the bottom.
Do this by Clicking and holding down the mouse button. The cursor/pointer will change to an arrow with a little box containing an "x", as shown in the screenshot above. Continue holding down and moving the mouse to the new toolbar, and let go of the mouse button when over the new toolbar and the box with the "x" disappears.
The new toolbar now has a command!
In the example below, SOAP Notes, Patient Demographics, Billing Statements and Messages were added.

To further customize Toolbars, and to learn about customizing Menus, see Rearranging Commands in Menus and Toolbars.
Renaming a Toolbar
To rename an existing toolbar, select the toolbar you would like to rename by clicking on it, and then click "Rename". In this example, we will rename the toolbar we just created.

The Rename Toolbar dialog box will be displayed. Enter the new name for your toolbar, and click Ok. The name of the toolbar will be changed.
Note that you can only rename toolbars that you create. You cannot rename the default SOAPware toolbars.

Deleting a Toolbar
To delete an existing toolbar, removing it completely from SOAPware, you will follow the same steps as you do to Rename a toolbar, but instead of selecting Rename for the options, you will select the Delete button. SOAPware will ask you to confirm that you wish to delete the toolbar. If you are certain that you wish to delete the toolbar, click Ok. The toolbar will be removed from the Toolbars list.
Note that you can only delete Toolbars that you create. You cannot delete the default SOAPware toolbars.
Resetting a Toolbar
To return a Toolbar to its default layout, click the Reset button. SOAPware will ask you to confirm that you wish to reset the toolbar. If you are certain you wish to reset the toolbar, click Ok. The selected toolbar will be reset to its default layout.
