  1. 1. Saving Groupings Layouts

Task items can be grouped together for easier review within the Task Manager. To open Click SOAPware in the menu bar and Click on the Tasks menu item. Task items can be grouped and the nature of the display rearranged in hundreds of fashions. There are even dozens of different layouts, and these can be saved for future use.

At the top of the Task item list, Notice the Drag a column header here to group by that column drop box. Drag a column header (e.g. Description, Priority, Action/Status, etc.) to that drop box to group the task items by that column. In our example, we will Drag the Patient column header first.

  1. Click on the Patient column header, and while Holding-down the mouse button, Drag the column header to the drag box labeled Drag a column header here to group by that column. As the column header is dragged, two red arrows point to the drop box.
  2. Drop the header on the drop box between the two arrows by Lifting your finger off the mouse button.

  1. The list will look something like the image above. Click the + next to names to view the task items for that patient.

Now, Repeat steps 1-3, only Drag the Action/Status column header. This can be repeated again with each column to include in the layout. In other words, you can drag multiple column headers to create complex layouts if needed.
