• Dragon Naturally Speaking, Version 9. Medical Edition recommended.

Dragon Naturally Speaking is a speech recognition software that allows you to dictate into a mic at your computer and the software translates your spoken words to text in real time. You are able to dictate directly into SOAPware 2008 in order to make data entry easier and more efficient. Version 9 is the version of Dragon that has been tested with SOAPware. We recommend the Medical Edition because it comes with a medical dictionary, but the edition is not required to use it with SOAPware.

• X-Link Version 11

X-Link is a program that allows you to integrate SOAPware with other Practice Management Systems. X-Link is a 3rd party program that integrates with a large number of Practice Management Systems. Please click below to see if your Practice Management System integrates with X-Link:

If it does integrate with X-Link, then you can integrate it with SOAPware with our SOAPwareXChange Enhancement. The integration allows for real time demographics transfer including general demographics as well as insurance information. This eliminates the need for typing demographics in twice for each system. The integration also gives you the ability to send Superbills from SOAPware to your billing system for a much easier workflow. • Instant Medical History

Instant Medical History is patient interview software from Primetime Medical Software. You must purchase this program separately from Primetime Medical History.
