SOAPware recommends that you allow us to do remote installation for you. Click Here to schedule an appointment to have SOAPware installed. Our techs can stream into your computer and remotely control to do the install for you. Many times, we can set up your server and a client or two then instruct you how to set up the rest of the clients.
However, if you would prefer to do the install yourself, you may. There are links below to download the software, as well as written installation manuals for all SOAPware installations.
SOAPware Server Installation: The SOAPware server will hold your data at the least. There are two components to be downloaded for installation on the server: the Data Server Installer, and the Data Manager Installer. (If you also want to use the SOAPware program on the server machine, then you should download SOAPware to install on the server.)
There are both written guides instructing you on the installation process for the Data Server and the Data Manager. See the written guides - Data Server Installation Manual and Data Manager Installation Manual.
Client/Workstation Installation: This installation will apply to all workstations and portable machines that will be used to run SOAPware. There is only one component to be downloaded for installation on these machines - the SOAPware Installer . (Sometimes, SOAPwareXChange or SOAPwareXChangeHL7 will also be downloaded on a client machine.)
There is also written installation guidance on how to install SOAPware 2008 on the client/workstation machines. See the written SOAPware Installation Manual.
Other Downloads: These are optional features and the download only applies if you purchased a license for either SOAPwareXchange or SOAPwareXchangeHL7.
SOAPwareXChange is an integration module that works with X-Link, LinkRunner, and Practice Management Systems. Normally, SOAPwareXChange is installed to whichever computer you have X-Link or LinkRunner installed to.
SOAPwareXChangeHL7 is an integration module that imports labs into your SOAPware system. This is normally installed on the computer that the lab company has set up their side of the integration on.
