In SOAPware, you can now add audio files to your patient charts with a simple drag and drop operation.

To add an audio item to a patient chart, you must first have a document open. For example, you can add an audio item to an Encounter.

To do this, click and hold the left mouse button on the audio file you wish to add to the chart. Drag the file to an empty space in the document tab area, shown below, and release the mouse button.

The new image item will now be displayed in its own tab, and is stored as a part of the current document.

Note that in order to add audio files to a patient chart you must have 3rd party software installed on your computer that supports the audio file type you wish to use.
