The ability to customize both how Rx Management works and how Rx's look has been significantly improved.
The first two tabs - 'Default Layout' and 'Summary Layout' are the same as in 2008/V5 except for the inclusion of the Days Supply item. These two screens simply define which items of the Rx are visible.

The 'Printing-Faxing' tab is used to define the default reports to use when Rx Manager is used to Print and Fax prescriptions.
Previously, the layout of the Faxed prescription was 'hard coded' into the program. This change allows you to harness all the flexibility and formatting of Document Designer.

Scheduled Drugs allows you to define - by user - how various Rx's will be handled. Because, most states have their own laws concerning how various scheduled medications are handled. Currently, only Schedule I medications are available for electronic submission. In SOAPware, the other 4 levels have the option of either printing or faxing.

Headers tab is used to define the format of the Rx when it appears in the SOAP and Summary fields.
Items Headers defines the following:
Visible - Toggles whether the Header is displayed when the item contains information. When checked, the header is displayed. When unchecked, the header is only displayed when the item is empty.
XXX Header/Text Box - Defines the text string that is displayed for the header.
Include # Symbol - used to add a # sign before the Dispense/Quantity value.

Rx Layout:
This allows you how customize how the Rx is drawn on the screen. Currently in 2008/V5, SW uses only the 'Single Line' method.
3 - Lines displays the Rx across 3 lines of text (In the screen shot below the top Rx is displayed as 3-Line)

The final option 'Separate with blank lines' automatically formats the Medication field so that a blank line is placed between each medication.
