02. View Previous Encounters (Needs updating)

 

 

Definition: Area that allows viewing of all past patient encounters while viewing current encounter.

 

 

Intent: To view past and present encounters simultaneously.

 

 

 

Result: Easy reference to past encounters and the ability to add past encounter information into the current encounter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

View Previous Encounters Quick Reference

 

 

 

To view previous encounters (with a chart open)

 

• Click on Tools
• Click on View Previous Encounters
• Use the scroll bar to view the information
• Click the X to close View Previous Encounter dialog box

 

 

 

To add past encounter to current encounter (with a chart open)

 

• Click on View Previous Encounters
• Using the scroll bar, locate the past encounter desired
• Click the cursor next the Subjective Header of the appropriate encounter
• Click Add to Current Encounter button
• Click the X to close View Previous Encounter dialog box
