The Customize tool, accessed from the Tools menu, allows you to customize your SOAPware toolbars and menus to suit your usage style.
You can add and remove toolbar buttons and functions, add new toolbars and customize them, and remove toolbars that you no longer need. You can also control many menu options, such as how much of a menu is immediately visible, and how the menu choices appear.
To access the Customize tool, go to Tools, Customize.
The Customize tool has three tabs along the top: Toolbars, Commands, and Options. At the bottom of the tool are two buttons: Keyboard and Close.
The Toolbars tab contains a window that displays all of the available toolbars and whether they are active or inactive, as selected with check boxes. To the right of this window are four buttons: New, Rename, Delete, and Reset.
The Commands tab consists of two main windows, Categories and Commands. On the Categories side is a list of general categories that group commands by their area of function. On the Commands side are displayed the commands that fall under the selected Category. There are also two buttons below these windows, Modify Selection and Rearrange Commands.
The Options tab has two main areas, Personalized Menus and Toolbars and Other. Personalized Menus and Toolbars contains controls for how your menus behave and a button that will reset your usage data. Other contains several options for setting how menu items and toolbar items behave, as well as a drop down menu that allows you to set your menu animation.
