ECG

Make sure that the USB Device for your ECG is plugged into the computer that you are using.  Open up a patient chart in SOAPware and then open a SOAP encounter note.   It is possible to insert  the IQmark reading in any report section of SOAPware.  In our example, we have placed this information in the Vital Signs section.  You may also create a new section in Chart Navigator called ECG (SEE CHART SECTION EDITOR)  

1. Right click on the bottom Vital Sign tab.  
2. Click on New.  
3. Click on General.  
4. Click on IQmark Reading.

   
    

Once your serial port has been located, click on the Start button.  

ECG for patient will appear.
 

Note that you have function buttons at the bottom of the view:  

Print, Analyze, Freeze, Start RR, Settings, Help, and Exit  

  Choose Analyze.

Patient analyzed report will appear.
 

Click on Details to view Measurement Matrix

Click on Settings:
 

ECG Settings for Printer Format Settings
 

  ECG Settings for R-R Variability Settings
 

  ECG Settings for Configuration.
 

  Click on Calipers to Caliperate patient P-QRS-T Calipers reading.
 

Click on Exit when the ECG is completed.

Click on Exit > Save ? dialog box will appear.
 

  ECG Tab is placed next to Vitals Tab >  Click to view IQmark Report.
