1) The method of transfer that will be used to send the HL7 messages.Usually this is either a TCP connection, a network file transfer, or a dial-up download.
2) The MSH-3 and MSH-4 values the system will use in its outbound HL7 messages.We will need this information in order to set up SOAPwareXchangeHL7 to recognize messages from your system and route them to the proper parser.
3) A list of Physician ID’s (OBR-16 values) from your system, and the corresponding doctor names.With this information, we can pre-configure the Doctor ID Map for the site. If this is not available, the site will be able to easily map physicians on-the-fly.
4) If you are using a TCP connection: the port number the system will transmit outbound messages on.
5) If you are using a network file transfer: the directory where HL7 message files will be deposited.
6) If you are using a dialer to download your files: the site will need the user ID and password to log on to the system.
7) The site will need any software required for your side of the interface

2) A custom-programmed dialer, if necessary for your connection
