SOAPware Data Explorer replaces the "Chart Searcher" module from 4.0.
SOAPware Data Explorer helps you find and analyze practice data that is important to you.
Note: The information presented refers to an as yet unreleased version of SOAPware. This Workspace is expected to be available with SOAPware 5.2.
- Explore is a SOAPware Workspace as is accessed either view the SOAPware menu or the "Bubble" Bar.
Explore is comprised of 3 sections:
- Search - This tab is used to create, edit and run queries against your SOAPware database. The results of these queries can be printed or saved.
- Manage - Saved results from Search are managed here. This section allows you to review, print and delete saved search results.
- Analyze - is the Reporting module that allows you to create, edit and "run" reports. Reports are much like "Document Designer" but have much more structure and various analytical capabilties. When you 'run' a report you will be asked for which list of patients to use. The available lists are the same as those displayed in the Manage tab.
Unlike version 4.x, you do not have to 'index' your database in order to search it. Searches you desgn are run against your current SOAPware database. Because Explore has to access every piece of data, searching will take longer than in 4.x.
