Introduction


The Share allows you to export your patient charts to an external format of a PDF. This can be useful when referring a patient to another clinician.

You can choose to export the charts by active provider, or export charts of all providers.
You can export charts for all patients, some patients, or a single patient. In addition,
you can select which areas of the chart are exported.

Paper Connection
 

Share replaces all of the copying, correlating, stapling, clipping, organizing, and
mailing that is required when sending a copy of a paper chart to another clinician.
Now, a few clicks of the mouse and an e-mail are all that is necessary to share your
patient records.

Better handling of exported charts

Using Share
To open Share, Click the Share icon in the Bubble Bar. Alternatively, you can select
Share from the SOAPware menu, located on the main menu bar.
 

To select a provider, choose from Active Provider drop down list, located at the
top of the Share interface.

Then, Click to select the Type of Export you wish to perform. You can export Pulled
Charts only, All Charts, or an Individual patient’s chart. If you wish to export
an Individual chart, Click the Select Button. The Select Chart dialog box will open.
Choose the patient chart that you wish to export and Click Select.

Next, select the section(s) of the patient chart that you wish to export by placing
a check in the box(es) next to the section(s) you wish to export.

Now choose the Output Path for the exported charts. This allows you to choose the
location on your computer where the exported charts will be stored. To choose a location,
Click the Browse button, navigate to the desired location, and Click Ok.

Finally, Click Export. The selected charts will be exported to the location chosen
in the Output Path step.
