Version: 5.2.0
Change Type: Added
Keywords: Orders, Order Entry, Destinations
We have added a new concept to SOAPware called Desintations. These Destinations are places that we define where Orders can be submitted. So for example, a blood lab could be a destination.. it's a place where we are sending Orders (tests/labs) to be processed. To define these items you can find the Destintation Manager in the menu system from Charts at: Docutainers->Order Entry->Destinations.
With Order Entry being added, we needed a place to send the Order to.. or more correctly, document where the Order is being sent.
We need to define destinations, if we do not define them then when a Order is inserted into a soapnote it's subitem 'Destintations' will not have any items in it's list.
It's very easy to create a destination, just go to the destination manager via Tools->Order Entry->Destinations and click on the Add button. Fill out all the information you want and click save. That's all you need to do.
Also this needs to be added to the application documentation as it's all new.
