Description
When you drag a lab to a flowsheet, SOAPware will now use the Test Code field to search for other instances to compare. If no code is present, the Test Name will be used.
Reason
Test names can vary from lab to lab, and from provider to provider. Test Codes provide a more standardized way to identify the test. Especially when trying to compare results that were received through HL7 and performed at different labs, this change will allow more useful results.
Impacts
Any users who are using flowsheets to compare labs will be affected by the change.
Usage
Screenshots are pending code checkin...
1) Open a lab report that contains the test you would like to compare
2) Click on the Test Name, and drag it to a flowsheet
3) The test will be added, and value columns added and populated for any other instances of tests with the same code.
Notes
This change will only affect newly created flowsheets. Flowsheets previously created will be unaffected by the change.
