Keywords: Order Entry
The Authorization item is a pick list that the user can use to select different text descriptions. These descriptions must be defined by the user and can be done so by going to Tools->List Options. The List is called 'Order Entry - Authorizations'. Once they define their list of items then clicking on the Authorizations subitem will allow them to pick one of them.
Need this for Order Entry
Order Entry
Just click on it and select from the list.
There are also some special considerations that are taken into account with this item when a Order Entry item is created via the Smartext Designer/Editor Dialog. When you create a order item, you have the properties area which let's you set certain information about the item. In this properties area there is a tab called Authorizations. Within this tab you can type in a keyword.. the keyword is used later to access the resource library when the item is documented in the SOAP. So for example, when we insert a Order item into the SOAP, we have the ability to right click on the Authorization item and select 'Search Reference Library'. It will use the keyword you typed in for that search.
Also in the properties area under the Authorization tab will be a list of items that you defined in List Options. Here you can select which items you want to force the user to select before the soap can be signed off. Note that if nothing is selected, then the user can sign off the SOAP no matter what. I'll include a screen shot for reference.
