    Full Error Message

    Unable to write data to the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

     

    Meaning

    This message is generated when SOAPware attempts to communicate with the SOAPware database, but is either unable to or has the communication interrupted before completion.

     

    Resolution

    Multiple items can cause this error:

    • Wireless connection dropping
    • Faulty router, cabling or network adapter
    • Network interference
    • Server is too busy to respond

     

    Steps to resolve:

    1. Error occurs single time or rarely : simply keep using SOAPware.
    2. Error occurs multiple times: reboot the client computer. 
    3. Error occurs multiple times: reboot the server computer. 
    4. Error continues, contact SOAPware technical support for network troubleshooting help.

     

    Note: If you are using a wireless device, you will want to note if the error happens at certain times of the day or in specific locations. It is very common for wireless networks to have areas with little or no signal. In this case, please contact SOAPware Technical Support for help.

    SOAPware Technical Support cannot repair your network if it is failing, but should be able to isolate the cause of the problem and let you know where the issue lies.
