Drug Database Updates

Drug DB Updates come in two forms - the first is making new "structured" drugs available
for download by our users and the second is ensuring that the drug interaction engine
has the latest data. In both cases this is handled with the same update from Multum/Cerner.

The updates are applied to the central, SOAPware drug information server on a monthly
basis.

SOAPware Drug Interaction checking takes place at our data center and is accessed
automatically from the SOAPware client via secure web services. Thus users have no
need to apply drug updates nor do they have to be concerned they are out of date.
