In SOAPware 5.1.85 and SOAPware 2008, functionality has been changed in saving toolbars. Previously, toolbars saved automatically. However, this caused a problem for some sites. These settings would get saved over and over again and eventually caused performance problems (slowness). To prevent this from happening, a change was made, and toolbar settings are not automatically stored. Instead, it is now necessary to save changes to toolbars. To do this, Click Tools in the menu bar; Click Options; Click Toolbars on the left side near the bottom, and then Press the Save button.

Subsequent, Click OK on the message, then Click Close on the Options window.
In SOAPware versions prior to 2009, the settings are stored per user per machine. So if you log in to ExamRoom1, the settings will be different than ExamRoom2. Initially, the notion was some machines may be very different with respect to screen size, and so we wanted to be able to store separate views. This design actually was too problematic, so in SOAPware 2009 the settings are stored per user only. You can log in to different machines, and you will see the same toolbar.
