Ryan, I have been having trouble with soapware running slow on my client machines. This is especially true when trying to open up a chart from the chart rack. I often get a brief error in the upper right hand corner of the screen that soapware is not responding before the patient’s chart opens up. I've tried turning off my firewalls without any change.
I am current having the same problems too for my management office, very frustrating, slow on opening some chart, some chart even froze Soapware 5.0. I have tried doubling memory, on both server and local machine, firewall off.
What version are you using? 5.1.85.436 is the latest V5 version and 2008.0.458 is the latest 2008 version as of 11/21/2008. You can go to Help and About SOAPware to check. If you've done the above Clear Toolbars maintenance and have updated to the latest version (either latest V5 or 2008), and it's still slow, support may need to stream in and take a look.
