In SOAPware 2010, we have changed the default look of medications. Mediactions are separated by a blank line and viewed each on a 3 line format as opposed to a single line to make it more readable. However, some users prefer it on single lines. If you do, you can change the settings and re-align the meds.
These settings are stored PER USER so each user who wants to see the meds more closely aligned needs to change this.
Go to Tools, Options. Click Structured RX on the left side. Go to the Headers tab, and scroll to the bottom. Scroll down and look under Rx Layout. Make sure Single Line is selected and Separate with blank lines is UNCHECKED. Click Close and OK.
Log out of SOAPware and back in for the changes to take effect. Now when you open up charts and insert new meds, it will not space them out. For existing meds, you can use the delete keys to re-line the meds up how you want them.
