    Question

Are there any starting orders that I can use instead of creating my own?

    Answer

Yes! In fact, we strongly suggest downloading pre-build orders rather than building them from scratch. To access these orders:

    1.  In the Charts workspace, Press F10 to bring up the SMARText Items Manager dialog.
    2.  Click the List - By Type tab.
    3.  Click the Include Online Library Items check box In the bottom left.
    4.  Click the down-arrow menu just to the right of the text box in the upper left hand corner. This displays a list of SMARText item types.
    5.  Click Structured Items -> Plan Items -> Orders.
    6.  Click Yes in the dialog that warns you that the operation may take minutes to complete.  (Note that this will take some time).

    7. Click to highlight-select items to download.
    8.  Click the Download button.

Once that is done, you can use the keyword S--- in the SMARText Items Manager to retrieve-display the Order Entry items.

    Notes

Searches within the Order Manager will not search the online library, but are limited to order entry items that are local. It is necessary to go to the SMARText items Manager and first download the order entry items you wish to have locally, for use. So, to obtain a set of starting order entry items, search and download the online library for items containing the keyword s---
